Our Mission
The mission of the New Suffragettes is to galvanize public support for policies that ensure privacy, healthcare, and reproductive autonomy. We defend our right to own and control our bodies.
We promote human rights for all by dismantling systemic barriers to equality.
We uphold the separation of church and state to protect democracy.
” As long as people use tactics to oppress or restrict other people from being free, there is work to be done.”
― Rosa Parks
Will the women's fight ever end?
We don't have to tell you that women are truly remarkable. We see a need, we fix it. Whatever the need we make it happen. So why do we continually have to fight for basic human rights and the freedoms that men have? Let's blame it on politics. Whatever the reason, what are we going to do about it?
Firstly let's acknowledge the facts. We are feminists and that is a good thing. We should wear that banner with pride because there have been a whole lot of people that paid the price for standing up for our rights. Thanks to the iconic women of the past we have a broader and more detailed definition of feminism, Intersectional feminism.
The core of feminism is inclusivity. Intersectionality or Intersectional feminism is about acknowledging the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, gender, socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, sexual identity, religion, or ethnicity. We are a voice for those who are disempowered and marginalized.
